Saturday morning - time for the Jr. Rodeo in Thayne. We loaded up to watch Rae do her Thang.
Grandpa is great to help Rae out, and she is great to give rides!
Coming around dreaded barrel #3! This is the same barrel that earned her a trip to the emergency room last week at barrel club. She and Lady were having a great run, when #3 tripped them up - literally. Lady fell, Rae underneath lots of hooves and dust. Rae got kicked in the thigh a couple of times - and it looked much scarier than it turned out to be. That's why I'm not a fan of barrels. Too scary for me - she is crazy Rae after all : ) . She is okay and so is Lady. They were back at it very soon after. (Dang it - I thought she would have been "cured")
