The Sad and Miserable Pioneers

I do not know what goes through my children's minds. I honestly don't. When Rylee and Gavin were visiting this past weekend, they all decided to play "Pioneers". This largely consisted of dressing up like pioneers and walking around in the snow while looking as miserable as possible. Oh yes - they also carried baskets containing small crusts of bread. Nourishment for the impending trek - I'm sure. Who thought of this game? Oh yea - Rae. Always Rae. Basically, what this game ment for me was about two loads of laundry. Oh well - let 'em be kids - right?! Silly kids!
