Great Visit!

This past weekend the kids and I went to visit Jen, Kyle and family in Eagle Mountain. Kelly was gone to Dallas for his NFL trip with his brothers - so it was a great time for us to go. We had a wonderful time. It was so fun to see where Jen lives. It is surprisingly rural. I can see why she thinks it is great to live there. She has conveniences, but not too much congestion. It is really pretty.
We first met them at The Mayan and all had dinner together. It was great! The kids love that place. The next day Jen and I took all the kids to temple square to see the sights. We went and saw the movie, "Joseph Smith, Prophet of the Restoration". It is so good. My kids really enjoyed it. Brady said it was his favorite part of temple square. The other thing the kids thought was cool was the pocket watch of John Taylor that is in the Church History Museum. However, Brady and Rae were totally disappointed that it didn't still have the hands on it- to show the EXACT time that he was shot. They are funny. It was really great to just walk around and see that magnificent place. We ended the day by heading to Build-A-Bear Workshop where Reese picked out a bear for her birthday. She was so excited to have Blythe and Halle there to watch and help her. They all had fun. Blythe, Halle and Jude each picked out a new outfit for their animals at home, and Rae bought herself a cool Halloween bear. Brady was truly a bored man, who would have rather been at the NFL game : ). That boy's patience simply astounds me. So the kid got a great reward when all the girl craziness was finished -- MADDEN 2007!!!!! The latest football game for his gamecube that he has been eyeing. What he really needs is for Jude to get a little bigger! Brady did have fun with Jude though. He even took him into the "Men's" bathroom with him once. How cute!
So we had a blast. I'm really glad we finally got down there to see their spread. We sure have missed those cousins!
